My first encounter with clay was about 7 years aga when I took a workshop to help me distract myself from the darker evenings that were starting to loom and the effect I knew it would have on my mental health. Pottery Throwdown had been on for a couple of years and I thought “ That looks like fun” and it was fantastic - I was hooked.

I loved how tactile the clay felt in my hands and how calm it made me feel when I was working with it. I loved the mindfulness I experienced and definitely felt less stressed than when I started the workshop, plus I was really pleased I’d made something to remind me of the importance of taking care of myself.

My workshops are designed to guide you step-by-step, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills. Take this opportunity to invest in yourself by embracing something different—boost your mental wellbeing, ignite your creativity, and return to your routine feeling renewed and inspired.
